Flu Vaccine Update 2021-22 – Delivery Delays
Practices across the UK have been informed today that Flu vaccine deliveries from the supplier Seqirus are going to be delayed by at least a fortnight due to “unforeseen freight challenges”.
This means that Collington, Ninfield, Pebsham and Sea Road Surgeries will be without vaccines possibly until the beginning of October 2021, this is completely out of our control.
Although we have to make changes to our scheduled clinics please be reassured that we have a robust system in place to ensure that all eligible patients are offered a Flu vaccine as soon as they are available. We politely ask that patients do not call the surgery before the 1st October to book a Flu vaccination.
We will continue to update both our Facebook page and surgery website with information when we have it and ask that if you have family or friends who do not use online services that you kindly notify them of the current situation.
We thank you for your support and understanding at this challenging time.
The Government are relaxing restrictions on the 19th July. As a Practice our patients and staff's health and wellbeing is paramount, so we are asking all our patients to continue to wear a face covering when entering our surgeries.
All our staff will also continue to wear face coverings to help protect our patients. Social distancing rules will still apply along with using hand sanitiser when you enter and leave the surgery.
Please do not come to the surgery if you have any Covid 19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone who has been tested positive.

Telephone calls to the Surgery
We would like to remind all patients when calling Collington and Ninfield Surgeries If you are phoning regarding your COVID Vaccination please go to our website or Facebook where all of the up to date information is available for you.
Patients will receive a letter from NHS England or a phone call or text from us at the surgery inviting you to book your COVID Vaccination when you are eligible, We ask you not to call the surgery regarding having you vaccination as this will stop other patients being able to get through regarding medical matters. If you think, you are groups 1-6 for vaccination and have not yet been called please email the surgery and we will review this for you.
We would like to remind all patients please do not come to the surgery if you of any of your household have Covid-19 symptoms. During this pandemic, please do not come to the surgery unless you have a pre-booked appointment or are collecting a prescription from our Ninfield Dispensary. If you need to be seen, your GP will book either a face-to-face appointment or video consultation. Alternatively, please see the link on or website for Engage Consult.
All visitors to the surgery MUST wear a face covering, mask or visor. If you have been requested to provide a sample, please return it via our outside letterbox with all the relevant paper work.
If you are calling the surgery regarding your prescription, please email the surgery or post your request in our outside letterbox, as requests for repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind patients all calls may be recorded in the best interest of patients and staff.
